Hope Lugo, an award-winning Florida artist, paints portraits, still lifes, and scenes with meaningful symbols. Elements in each painting are created using multiple layers of acrylic and ink to represent a larger idea open to the viewer's interpretation. Literature, poetry, and song lyrics inspire much of her work, which has been shown in galleries and museums in Florida, New York, and collected worldwide.
