These bones have been recovered from a site excavated in 2007 by Archaeological Services Inc. in Halton Hills. The site corresponds to a mid-nineteenth century domestic occupation. Among the 4,465 Euro-Canadian artifacts found by the archaeologists were several faunal remains, including these cat bones. These bones have been interpreted as a cat burial.
