This is the Latin cross basilica of the cathedral of Santiago. We see that the cathedral has three naves, the largest being the central one, a large transept, and a large headboard with a gantry, suitable for the great flow of pilgrims to circulate without interrupting the main ceremony of the main chapel. In addition, small apsidioles protrude around the headboard and in the eastern part of the transept arms.
In yellow, the space occupied by the choir and the retrochoir stands out in the first four sections of the central nave. It is one of the most important spaces of the basilica.
