‘Here there are four perentie lizards and some small lizards, as well as caterpillars and some small snakes that live in the water with the frogs. There are many black cockatoos. This is my husband Bill’s country, Cave Hill. There are four rockholes and the creek is flowing, attracting the emus. One of the birds has hurt his foot and he’s sitting down. There is a centipede and a large-horned grasshopper.’—Angkaliya Curtis and Tjungu Palya © Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory
