Cello made by Félix António Dinis, active in Lisbon in the end of the 18th century / beggining of the 19th century. The instrument has a printed label stating that it was built at Galram's widow house in 1797. This information leads us to think that Dinis was possibly a disciple of Joaquim José Galrão (Galram), considered the best Portuguese violin and cellist builder of his time.
