The bent frame of the chair is made from a chromium-plated steel tube with a diameter of 25 mm. The seat and the backrest were probably originally caned before they were reupholstered in a red fabric; their frames are wood, lacquered black. The design stands closest to B32, a model Marcell Breuer created for Gebrüder Thonet, the Viennese furniture manufacturer, in 1928.
