Chakrasamvara and Vajravarahi

A thangka painted to show Chakrasamvara standing with ten arms holding weapons. The deity is depicted with a third eye, wearing ear rings and with diadem decorated with human skulls. He
is shown embracing his consort, a lady deity Vajravarahi and also his three other human heads depicted in red, white and green colours are by the side of her head. The deity is also shown trampling two demons under both of his feet. He is standing on a full-blown lotus. This figure became popular in the 18th century. They are important deities in Vajrayana Buddhism.
