This wooden chess piece was carved from euonymus and is cone-shaped, ornamented and almost entirely whole. The piece is most likely a King or Queen and seems to consist of three levels. The lower, wider part makes up its base (part of it is chipped), the middle is the waist, while the low, nine-petal flower-shaped top is its crown. The waist is decorated with a complex, highly detailed geometric ornament, while the top and crown have a plant ornament. A crack is visible in the centre of the crown.
