Chichen Itza – Great Ball Court, Sculptured Chamber E

One part of the iconography from the Sculpted Chamber of the Lower Temple of the Jaguars at the ancient Maya site of Chichen Itza, Mexico (Figures C10 and C11, West Wall). The object is a 19th century cast from the original, part of the Maudslay Collection at the British Museum, which was later painted, trying to give it its potential original colours.
