Chowki (Low surface)

This chowki was used particularly on the festivals of Navratri and Diwali. A bright red, orange or yellow coloured cloth is laid on the chowki before placing the idols and images of gods and goddesses. It was stored in the attic when not in use and was believed to be made around forty years ago.
