Chungui jigeon (Plain Speaking about Loyalty and Righteousness)

This is a Chinese language book published in early 15th century Joseon. It was selected by the government as official textbook for writing diplomatic documents as well as interpreting and translating. This book is the only extant edition printed with the gyeongja font cast in 1420. It contains 99 ancient stories based on Confucian ideology, including 36 on civil officials, 30 on military officials, 27 on the royal family members, queen’s relatives, women, eunuchs, and children, and 4 animals, etc.
