The church was completed in 1528. The façade is decorated with late-Gothic moldings and with a double-pitched roof. On the entrance portal there are two arch, one round and the other pointed; between the two arches is placed the square coat of arms belonging to the Counts of Modica. A high relief depicting a rodent in the act of biting bunches of grapes and a headless Paschal Lamb decorate part of the round arch.
