The Church of St Mary Magdalene was built between 1924 and 1930 in the Art Deco style by architect Bronisław Wiktor. During the Soviet period, the building was used as a mineral fertiliser warehouse. In addition, the first Ukrainian detective film, "A Crime with Many Unknowns," based on the work of Ivan Franko, was filmed in this church.
