The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was built in the 16th century. At one time, it was rebuilt by the famous architects Vasyl Nahirnyi and Lev Levynskyi. Often destroyed, it has undergone numerous changes: once it had three domes, now it has only one, as it was damaged by an artillery shell during the First World War. The church is considered to be one of the few surviving three-chambered structures typical of Ukrainian architecture of the XV-XVI centuries.
