Claremont Ry. 4 (NH) at Seashore Trolley Museum

#4 is a specialized work car for use in maintaining the overhead trolley wire. The pl;atform on the car's roof can be cranked up or down to match the worker's comfort in working on the wire, and can swinf from one side to the other so that workers can reach the wires that lead to the support poles. The entire car is of wood construction so that the workers have no fear of being electrocuted when working on a live trolley wire (600 volts DC).
