Colour photograph depicting carpenters at work in the carriage works at Cline Town in May 1975. The workshops at Cline Town continued to operate, maintaining the few remaining vehicles needed to operate the works trains bringing rails and other metal back to the port for export as scrap right until the final closure of the railway. This photograph is part of the collection of the Sierra Leone National Railway Museum which was founded in 2004. The Museum is based in Cline Town, Freetown, Sierra Leone and tells the story of the construction, development and operation of the railways in Sierra Leone.
