Cocoa agroforestry plantation

After bean extraction, cocoa pods can be used for composting (organic fertilizer) and animal feed. Apart from plantain and yam, cocoa plantations can also be intercropped with fruit trees such as oil palms, coconut palms, citrus fruits, avocado trees, or mango trees.
