COEXISTENCE / Site of the Intervention

The project suggests the reactivation of the existing storage space as part of the museum. The salt hill is preserved as a sculptural relict that tells of the past. The former harvesting system is transformed into a path system, leading from the storage space to the main building of the museum via the pumping facilities. This part of the museum is embedded in one of the former salt fields.
