A collage composed of a cut-out Saraswati, likely from a Brij Basi press print, pasted on a painted background. She is presented seated on an outcrop in the sea with cliffs and rocks to the right of the painting. Such collages, associated with Nathdwara and combining painted backgrounds with cut-outs of figures from popular prints, were hugely in demand around the early to mid-twentieth century. They ususally featured cut-ous from prints produced by the S. S. Brij Basi press.
