The design of the Colour Row settlement is architect Hans Scharoun's earliest well-known work. It served as his informal graduation project, as he did not finish high school and instead chose to join up with the East Prussian Re-construction following World War One. Architects of this movement rebuilt all the whole of the Provence in manners ranging from traditionalist to modernist.
