Conch Shell Trumpet

In the seashell trumpet refers to Codex Bodley, it tells the history of Mr. Seven Serpent who is the ruler of Sanke Hill; it could be the representation of the ruler and his son Mr. Dog the Third who carries a scepter in his hand. Both are united back to back. They are sitting on an animal with the body and head of a reptile with a plume or crest and feline paws. You can see a fish is on the top of the characters with three chalchihuites, which means little circular ornaments. Above the chalchihuites there is a face showing teeth and it is on top of the face of the feline creature. The constant portrayal of animals, or humanized animal motifs can enforce the link between the possession of the trumpet and the power. Apparently the intermediary between the ruler and the trumpet is a zoomorphic character. This reminds us of the ancient legends of the Nahual an indian animal human deity.
