Constance Spry OBE (1886-1960) as a child. She was born Constance Fletcher in Derby and became a noted author and florist in the mid-20th century. She created floral the arrangements for Queen Elizabeth II's coronation on 2nd June 1953 and received and OBE in the Coronation honours. Remarking upon this photograph she added, "I remember the past with delight".
