This photographic copy of an illustration shows a river view of Greenwich Palace. The illustration is entitled 'A View of the Antient ROYAL PALACE called PLACENTIA, in East Greenwich'. Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester, rebuilt his manor house at Greenwich and upon his death in 1447 it was given to Margaret of Anjou, wife of Henry VI, who renamed it Placentia.
