The artwork "Cyclades II" belongs to the homonymous series of sculpures, which the artist in the mid-1980s worked with thin slabs of white marble, presenting abstract compositions that are distinguished for their geometric simplicity and rigour. As she notes in 1986. Unpretentious, alive, shining, it has its own independence. Complex shapes do not suit it. They would hide its beauty. Clear simple lines like the square, the circle, the semicircle, the parallelograms, are forms, "symbols" from time immemorial. In this artwork, as in others, composition plays a primary role. Instinct has always been the driving force".
The compositions she creates, well organized and thought out, where proportions, harmonious relationships, white color and texture of the material, reveal to the viewer areas of aesthetic pleasure.
