Czech Radio Zlin. The Karfík fireplace

Later modifications to the villa were designed by Vladimír Karfík, Zlín's most famous architect. In 1937, for example, a large hall with this fireplace was built on the ground floor. After 1951 the villa was adapted by architect Václav Pavelka for the new owner – then Czechoslovak Radio.
