Bust portrait of young woman, slightly turned to the left. Oval face. Dark hair, tied up, with side curls. Above the forehead, a brooch made up of four red stones surrounded by diamonds. Headband with similar stones, with arrangements on the sides with small red flowers. Black, straight eyebrows. Big, brown eyes. Small nose. Thin lips. Stained faces. On the left ear, earring with red drop between diamonds. Thick neck. Necklace with stones similar to other jewels. She wears a red dress, with a low accent neckline. On the left, band details and, on the right, details of decorations. Dark green background.
Maria Francisca de Assis from Maternidade Xavier de Paula and Alcântara Antónia Joaquina Gonzaga Carlota Mónica Senhorinha Sotera e Caia (Queluz, Portugal, April 22, 1800 - Gosport, England, September 11, 1834), daughter of Dom João VI and D. Carlota Joaquina, sister of Dom Pedro I.
