Daguerreotype of an unknown person from the photographic studio of Benjamin Franklin Pease (New York, 1822 – Pisco, 1888). Pease also had a room that served as an art gallery, where gatherings were also held.
Daguerreotype is a form of photographic process for capturing images on a copper plate treated with various chemicals. They are unique copies that used to be kept in cases due to their extreme fragility.
