Daughter of Bacchus

Standing on one leg and holding a bunch of grapes in both hands, this "Daughter of Bacchus" represents one of the images of the new woman. It is inspired by the dance of the priestesses of the god Bacchus, who, according to Euripides passed whole nights dancing naked far from their husbands, in drunken extasy.
