David Tlale Fashion Show

Renowned South African fashion designer David Tlale treated Design Indaba Expo 2014 visitors to a surprising show. Since launching his brand in 2003 and winning the “Elle New Talent in South Africa” competition, along with being noted as the Best Designer by the Sunday Times in South Africa, award-winning designer David Tlale has proven that he is indeed a fashion force to be reckoned with. His creations and runway shows surprise fashion lovers and audiences alike and go beyond expected.

At Design Indaba Expo 2014, Tlale rapped up the events arena’s fashion shows. In keeping with the theme of “Africa is Now”, Tlale showcased an array of bright colours and bold African patterns on numerous garments. Taking the audience by surprise, his models left the ramp and wandered throughout the Expo floor only to return once all visitors experienced a fashion show like no other.
