Decoration of the Room of the Loggias

The 19th century renovation of the Room of the Loggias is due to the painter and set designer Annibale Angelini who, showing off his skills as an artist specialized in perspective rendering, took inspiration from the frescoes of the Corazzieri Hall and created a fake loggia from which Swiss guards look out.
