Rodolfo Teófilo [1853-1932] and Antônio Sales [1868-1940] were founding members of the Ceará literary movement known as Padaria Espiritual. It was in 1892, at Café Java, that the movement was born with avant-garde purposes: art as an expression of irony and political criticism with humor.
