Desert Garden

The QBG Desert Garden is designed to embody one of the most important arid environments in mainland Qatar – the Rawdat desert ecosystem. Al-Rawdah is a low-lying place resulting from the accumulation of rainwater, rich in sedimentary soil and abundant spread of plant assemblies. Al-Rawdah is surrounded by a high belt called Al-Hazam. This ecosystem is represented in the Desert Garden which includes a group of plants found naturally in the environment such as Wild Sidr, Senna and Camel's Hay.
