The escutcheon is supported by a single putto flying beneath whereas three putti are busy with the hat. Hope stands, faith sits at left of the escutcheon, Charity nursing a child sits at right on clouds. Written with ink, top right: "p[er] la cascata del Balcone (?) / d[ell]a Sala di Roma". Coat of arms of Cardinal Frencesco Maria de' Medici (1660–1711; cardinal 1686–1709).
