A design for a stand with dado supported with acanthus leaves. Primarilly the left portion of the design is shown while the right side is described lightly in graphite. A volute pediment is supported by acanthus rinceaux, with cornucopias forming parts of the stems.Beads are held by strings, or boughs, connecting the lower sprials of the rinceaux, cornucopias and sprials of the pediment. At top, a crown is shown above the crossing of laural and palm boughs.
