Design Indaba 2014

Adam&Eve is a South African ready-to-wear brand that promotes fun and quirky yet sophisticated and clean design. Adam&Eve was started in July 2006 by Kim Cupido, Al Luke, Faatimah Mohamed and Paula dos Santos. As independent established designers, they all had their unique design styles but shared a common affinity for good design, and so decided to collaborate. The first collaboration entitled Adam&Eve was African was a streetwear label dedicated to young, innovative and modern South African men and women. Thereafter the name stuck, and the rest, as they say, is history!

Adam&Eve aims to be a premier South African ready-to-wear brand. Its design aesthetic is based around a structured prettiness with garments that project a sense of fun and quirk, while remaining sophisticated. 100% locally manufactured to the highest standards, Adam&Eve clothing are well-constructed and classically styled garments with clean lines and clever details. The label aims to make South African fashion not only accessible but also preferable.
