Detail of the ceiling of the Coffee House in Castelporziano

The Coffee-house is a romantic setting wrapped in a delicate painted tempera decoration that represents, with a continuous trompe-l'oeil on the walls, imaginary views of the estate, including the castle. The floor was made with stone excavation fragments found in the area, cut into lozenges and hexagonal slabs.
