Historically, painting as artistic discipline has been used as a mean to represent endless subjects, concepts and sensations through different styles and supports. In 20 years, I have painted on multiple supports, always interested in generating a pictorial body placed and in motion, and that is why I have incurred in the performance. Currently, I am interested in taking this discipline to the limit, presenting the painting as an end on its own. Like a living body that grows and transforms according to its condition and context. I choose the synthetic enamel because of its versatility and its drying time that allows me to play with another participant element: gravity. I design supports, so that I can contemplate the painting without obstacles, with the relevance that could have the frame of a painting. With time, the work can detach itself and become something else.
