Dining chair donated by descendants of Thomas Worthington that dates to the period when he built his home at Adena. Chippendale-style arm chair dates from about 1775. The chair has two straight, slightly flared back legs. The front legs are curved with ornately-carved knees and end in claw and ball feet. The chair back is ornately carved with a pierced splat and distinctive ears. The arms curve outwards and feature carved birds. The slip seat has been re-covered in cream damask.
