The disc brooch from Hamburg-Waltershof is decorated in the Scandinavian Borre style. Three animal heads arranged in the shape of a cloverleaf are worked out three-dimensional and separated by ridges. The disc brooch from Hamburg-Stellingen, made in the Scandinavian Jellinge style, vividly shows intertwined animals. The brooches are products of Scandinavian blacksmiths and indicate trade contacts in the north.
