'Donkey' sculpture, Pittman's Field, Mark Hall South, Harlow, Essex

Situated on the green adjacent to number 5 Pittman's Field, 'Donkey' was created in 1955 by Vienna-born sculptor Willi Soukop. It was originally cast in 1935 for the grounds of Dartington Hall in Devon, and a second cast was commissioned for the new town of Harlow.
