Assistant Professor of Civil and Urban Engineering, Khalfa University. He developed a process to create concrete from the by products if desalination.

Dr. Kemal Celik comes from Turkey. His father who was a carpenter inspired his interest in sustainable materials. His studies in civil and environmental engineering enabled him to succeed in this field. His advice for youths today is to never give up on their dreams and to follow them through. He believes the UAE embraces innovation and is an ideal place for research and development both in the public and private sector.
