Dr. Santiago Calatrava

The UAE Pavilion is designed by world-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava, from Valencia, Spain. Dr. Calatrava and his team designed the outside shell, while the interior and oasis were designed by UAE based and international creative partners. Dr. Calatrava’s structures are experimental works of art, featuring larger-than-life designs, with a focus on all- white structures that play with shapes, height and mobility.
