This five-piece garniture consits of three monumental covered jars and tow concave beaker vases. It is part of the famous collection of "dragoon vases", which Augustus the Strong received in spring 1717 from Friedrich Wilhelm I of Prussia , the "soldier king", in exchange for 600 cavalrymen. The originally 151 monumental vessels came from the rich porcelain collections of the Prussian palaces.
