Eagle flying

Officially, Derbent is 2000 years old – unofficially, it is 5000. The most surprising thing about these numbers is that there are sites preserved here of approximately the same age. The citadel of Naryn-Kala is the oldest fort not only in Derbent, but in the entire country.
