The site has three large and big hypogeum plus others smaller. Those are organized in corridors with burial niches in the walls. The three most important catacombs, denominated “A”, “B”, and “C”, are arranged in series and can be accessed through big openings sustained by lintels.
The most interesting hypogeum is commonly referred to as hypogeum “A” or greater hypogeum. This catacomb is the largest of Celone’s Cave and consists of a large quadrangular vestibule with a big pillar in the center.
