Memory of My Great Grandmother Edri Rice Wray, a pioneer in medical research who helped prove the value of the oral contraceptive pill, worked on the first research on the contraceptive injection. Thanks to the United Nations, she arrived in Mexico. She was a professor at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, during her stay she helped many people from San Andrés and San Pedro Cholula in health centers.
She was very happy living in San Andrés Cholula, until her death in 1990. Her remains lie in the San Francisco Acatepec pantheon.
