Circa 1883 engraving on half a page from an unknown publication of the "Coronation of the King and Queen of the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii)." The view is looking down the walkway from the Palace lanai to the Coronation Pavilion. Men in top hats and ahuula (feather cloaks) holding kahili (royal feather staffs) line each side of the walkway. At center, is a man placing a crown on his head.
