This letter written by Erika Munck, managing editor of the Tulane Drama Review, describes the audience's reaction to a performance of In White America in Indianola, Mississippi, during the first summer of touring in 1964. A group of white men attended the performance and it was assumed that some of them were part of the White Citizens Council, a white supremacist organization. They did not disrupt the performance. The letter also states that civil rights activist, Fannie Lou Hamer attended the Free Southern Theater performance in Ruleville, Mississippi.
