Evening ensemble comprising skirt, blouse, sash and stole in silk taffeta, orange, red, pink, dark green, light green, cream warp-printed geranium and peony floral motif. A: Full, floor-length skirt; heavily gathered into 3/4-inch waistband at natural waist; center back hook-and-eye closure; cotton organdy lining, horsehair stiffening in hem. B: Matching doubled fabric stole, rectangular, 20" x 59". C: Dark green silk jersey blouse covered with dark green sequins; fitted; jewel neckline; sleevless; silk jersey peplum that tucks into skirt at natural waist; center back zipper closure. D: Orange satin sash, three inches wide; sits at natural waist; ties into bow at center back. Showroom original sample acquired by Betty Furness.
