Arnold Schönberg’s library, which includes approximately 2000 books and musical works, has, despite his moves in Europe and the United States, largely survived intact. His collection of scores includes not only those works that he admired and drew upon for self-instruction, but also a comprehensive cross-sampling of the compositional history of the first half of the 20th century.
